The authorities have confirmed that the remains are human. It was also mentioned that they could belong to an old cemetery ground. They have ruled out any suspicions at this time.

At least 20 construction workers were laid off indefinitely on Friday pending the outcome of the discovery.

Excavation (for the new boiler) has resumed since the work was halted when bone remains were found about a week or so ago. The excavation is being supervised by a team of specialists from Montreal.
