Tembec is quick to blame poor market conditions and the financial performance of the mills. How soon we forget the management's decision to move the lumber's "Sales team" to Toronto from Timmins. Not only did this move cost the company an unbelievable amount of money, the loss of an experienced sales staff remains immeasurable, specifically during this difficult economic period where every advantage was necessary. One must wonder who is accountable for such decisions? What other unneccessary excessive expenditures have been done and approved by upper management, during this "tightening up period"? These enormous losses are not linked either to the mills performance or poor market conditions..Has Tembec ever taken the blame for job losses or closures due to poor management decisions???
