Tembec doing it again and you union guys should watch out The wants the loggers to take a $5.00 cut in pay no more medical or dental and cut the fuel surge charge rebate from 12% to 6% and if they do not take will not start mill. You union guys are next and they will want big cuts maybe they will go broke and another company will buy these mill that is human

This company is going to keep on taking and taking, $5.00 cut for the loggers, hmmmpf we can't make it now on what they pay us, if that happens I guess our truck will have to sit and they can replace it with another sucker, we barely made it last season with it set up the way it is now, as for the medical I called Interior Lumberman's and everyone has to change it over to a private policy in order to keep your health benefits. You have 60 days from March 31 to do this or you will be classified a new policy holder.

We are all watching out. The economy is so poor it is difficult to tell what kind of advantages Companies will want to take of the average working people, and difficult to tell what kind of cuts will, in reality, help the Companies. Former IWA President Jack Munro yelled out during the recession in the 1980's that the forest industry can't even sell lumber for PEANUTS because there isn't a market, so working for peanuts won't help one bit.
